Interested in starting your own business? Do you love working with children? 

First step: You call the Department of Early Education and Care at 617-472-2881 and ask to be enrolled in the Potential Provider Meeting.  These meetings are free to attend and are offered twice each month at EEC offices throughout the state.  This meeting qualifies all potential providers for attendance at the Family Child Care Orientation (FCCO).

Second Step: The orienation will prepare you to start the process of becoming a Massachusetts Department of Early Education & Care licensed family child care provider. Learn in depth about the requirements and regulations to operate a child care business in your home. Learn about tools and techniques to help start your business.
